System Administration

Many configuration options are available on the Administrative menu, available at the top of any Aperio eSlide Manager page.

The System Settings page provides details about your configuration of Aperio eSlide Manager, including different display options.

Licensing Details 

Selecting Licensing Administration from the Administrative menu takes you to the page where you can administer Aperio eSlide Manager licenses.

It has three sections (System Details, Licensed Components and System Information). The last two are read-only and the System Details section is the only one that can be modified. To modify System Details, do the following:

  1. In the System Details window pane, click Edit.

  2. The System ID, which uniquely identifies your Aperio eSlide Manager location, is a read-only field.

  3. To modify the System Description, which is the identifier for the Aperio eSlide Manager location on your network, enter the new description.

  4. To modify the existing License Key, which determines the components of Aperio eSlide Manager that have been licensed and installed at location and are available to users, type the new key in place of the old one. You should only do this if you entered the key incorrectly and need to re-enter it or if you are given a new key by Leica Biosystems.

  5. Click Save to keep your changes or Cancel to discard them.

Read-Only System Information

The Licensed Components section lists the options and upgrades that have been licensed at your site.

It also includes information on the number of images and algorithms enabled by your license. Addition of images or algorithms requires a further upgrade unless your license is for an unlimited number.
