You may want to change your password occasionally for security reasons.
To change your password:
Go to the Administrative menu in the top menu bar of the Aperio eSlide Manager page and select My Settings.
On the User Details page, type your old password in the Old Password box.
Type your new password in the New Password box, and then retype it in the box below.
If your system administrator has set password length or complexity requirements, there will be a reminder beside the New Password box. If the password you select does not meet the requirements, you will be notified and must choose a conforming password.
Click Save.
If you receive a message that Aperio eSlide Manager logged you off, your session has timed out and you need to log in again. If this happens frequently, ask your Aperio eSlide Manager administrator to increase the session time-out period.
Other settings on this page include:
Enable Auto-View Images – Selecting this check box tells the system to automatically open images in a viewer (such as Aperio ImageScope) for the data you are opening.
Spectrum Start Page – Choose which Aperio eSlide Manager page you see when you log in.
Data Group for Scanning – Choose which data group eSlide images will go into when you scan slides. (This only applies if you are a ScanScope operator.)
Clinical Viewing Mode – Selecting this check box tells Aperio eSlide Manager you want to use a streamlined subset of ImageScope tools that relate to clinical workflow, hiding general-purpose tools from the ImageScope toolbar that are not useful in a clinical setting.
Disable Auto-Slide Flipping – By default, the Web-based viewer automatically flip slides horizontally in the tray after you interact with them so the label is on the right to indicate that the slide has been read. You can disable this here. (You can still manually flip the slide by right-clicking on it and using the context menu.)
Disable Workflow Email Notifications – The eSlide Manager Network Applications can be configured to automatically email you if an item in the applications needs your attention. You can turn off this option here.
