Editing an Annotation Template

You can edit a newly created or existing annotation template by renaming it or adding annotation layers and specifying attributes. To modify an annotation template:

1. On the Administrative menu, click Genie Annotation Templates.

2. On the Annotation Templates list page, click Edit beside the template you wish to modify.

3. When the Edit Annotation Template page appears, you can either rename the template or modify its layers. To rename the template, simply type the new name over the old one.

4. To add a template layer, click Add in the Template Layers window pane. Enter a name for the layer, change the default color if you wish, and add any layer attributes. When you have finished, click Save.

5. To delete a layer, click Delete beside the layer in the Template Layers window pane.
