Adding a New TMA Spot

To add a TMA spot image record, do the following:

1. On the TMA block list page, select a TMA block by clicking the check box beside it, then clicking Open Data.  The TMA Block Details page appears.  

2. Beneath the main TMA Block Details window pane, click Extract Spot Images to display the Extract TMA Spot Images page.

3. Enter the number of the slide or slides from which you wish to extract the new spot image.

4. Under the File Options heading, click Browse to navigate to the destination folder where you want to save the extracted spot image.

5. The Base File Name contains the name of the TMA block you selected in step 1.  Select the compression format (TIF, JPG or SVS) from the drop-down list.

6. If the slide has an associated ICC profile, click the radio button under the ICC Profiles heading to indicate whether you want to embed, use or ignore the profile, if applicable.

7. Click Extract to extract the spot image and add the record to the database.
