To perform image analysis using an Aperio analysis algorithm, you must first fine-tune the settings to suit your needs and then save the algorithm settings as a macro. To make the macro available to Aperio eSlide Manager users for analyzing eSlides, you must register the macro. If you have macros that were created in the past that need to be registered with Aperio eSlide Manager, you can use the Add Macro command to register them. If you create macros using the current version of Aperio ImageScope, you do not need to do this step.
To add an analysis macro, you will use the Aperio ImageScope viewing application to:
View an eSlide
Adjust the algorithm settings for that slide
Save the settings as a macro and register the macro in the Aperio eSlide Manager database. This last step is done in Aperio ImageScope and no further action is necessary within Aperio eSlide Manager to make the macro available to other users. See the Aperio Image Analysis User's Guide for further information.
